THE STORY SO FAR
About Us
ScopeCasinoReview launched in 2026 with one idea: casino reviews should read like they were written by someone who actually checked the licence, not someone chasing a sign-up bonus.
Our Mission
The UK casino landscape is crowded with near-identical brands, rotating offers, and small print most visitors never read. We exist to cut through that: verifying who actually holds the UK Gambling Commission licence behind a brand, describing the account experience honestly, and pointing readers toward independent player-safety resources before they ever click "sign up."
How We Work
- Verify the licence. Every brand we cover is checked directly against the UK Gambling Commission's public register — the licensee name and account number you see on our review pages come straight from that register.
- Read the terms. Account terms, deposit limits and responsible-gambling tools are reviewed section by section, not skimmed.
- Write the verdict. Our editorial rating reflects licensing, transparency and account experience — not how much a brand pays us.
- Disclose the relationship. Where we may earn a commission for a sign-up, we say so, in full, on our Disclosure page.
Editorial Independence
Commercial relationships never determine our ratings. A brand that advertises with us is held to exactly the same licensing and safety checklist as one that doesn't. If a brand's licence status changes or a safety concern comes to light, our review is updated to reflect that.
Who's Behind ScopeCasinoReview
We're a small, UK-based team of researchers and writers with a background in regulated consumer content. We're independent of every casino brand we cover, and we don't hold or manage gambling accounts on anyone's behalf.
